About The Position

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner in Stuart, Virginia. This is a school-based outpatient Family Nurse Practitioner role serving elementary, middle, and high school students along with school staff. It is an acute care-focused position within a structured school-based clinical environment, offering an independent practice structure with Medical Director support available. The role provides an opportunity to offer hands-on care including minor procedures such as suturing, with a predictable weekday schedule and no call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner REQUIRED
• Active Virginia FNP license REQUIRED
• Active DEA REQUIRED
• Comfortable practicing independently REQUIRED
• Comfortable caring for pediatric and adolescent populations REQUIRED
• Comfortable performing minor procedures including suturing REQUIRED
• Community-focused care mindset REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Provide acute outpatient care services for students and school staff
• Deliver care within elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Perform minor procedures including suturing as needed
• Practice independently with Medical Director support available
• Maintain clinical documentation and care coordination responsibilities within outpatient school-based environment
