About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a School-Based Therapist in Stuart, Virginia. This is a school-based outpatient behavioral health role supporting students and staff within an integrated care environment. The office is located inside a high school with in-person counseling responsibilities, and there is an opportunity to provide occasional telehealth services to partner sites. The role features a collaborative integrated behavioral health structure with warm hand-offs alongside medical and pharmacy teams, and a predictable weekday schedule with no call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Active Virginia LCSW or LPC license REQUIRED
- Comfortable working with students and adolescents REQUIRED
- Comfortable practicing independently within school-based setting REQUIRED
- Strong collaboration and communication skills REQUIRED
- Comfortable within integrated behavioral health model REQUIRED
- Organized and adaptable clinical approach REQUIRED
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling services for students and school staff within school-based setting
- Deliver in-person therapy services inside high school environment
- Provide occasional telehealth support to partner locations
- Collaborate closely with medical and pharmacy teams within integrated care model
- Participate in warm hand-offs and coordinated behavioral health support
- Maintain documentation and care coordination responsibilities within outpatient behavioral health environment
