Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services including physical exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Manage acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory illnesses
- Perform routine procedures and preventive screenings
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists for coordinated patient care
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and population health programs
