Family Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
Engelhard Medical Center, part of Ocracoke Health Center, Inc., is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Family Nurse Practitioner to join their dedicated care team in rural Hyde County. They provide excellent, compassionate care in a community shaped by fishing, farming, and small-town life. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), they provide comprehensive primary care services to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay, and focus on serving underserved and rural communities. This role involves providing primary and preventive care to patients of all ages, with a patient panel of approximately 300-400 to support meaningful continuity of care. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with experienced physicians and clinical staff in a supportive, team-oriented environment and participate in community health initiatives.
Requirements
- Is a licensed Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina (or eligible)
- Has experience in primary care or family practice (NEW GRADS WELCOME!)
- Brings strong clinical skills and a collaborative spirit
- Enjoys building relationships with patients and colleagues

Benefits
- $51 - $61 per hour based on experience

- Eligibility for the North Carolina Loan Repayment Program (NC LRP) and National Health Service Corp Loan Repayment Program (NHSC LRP) (pro-rated awards are available for part-time!)
