About The Position
Peachtree Immediate Care, a subsidiary of CRH Healthcare, is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Provider (Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its clinic in Griffin, Georgia. The role offers competitive compensation and a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week. The provider will assess and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries, perform common urgent care procedures, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and clinic protocols. Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Georgia, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- DEA registration.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, or primary care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
- Perform procedures including suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays, laboratory work, and 12-lead EKGs.
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and clinic protocols.
