Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care
About The Position
Fairview Range is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its Urgent Care Department in Hibbing, Minnesota. The role provides medical care to urgent care patients during assigned shifts and contributes to the well-being of people needing immediate health services. The practitioner delivers safe, systematic care for a specified patient population under physician supervision, while exercising independent judgment in assessment, diagnosis, and initiating medical processes within the applicable scope of practice. The role requires specialized knowledge in emergency care, pharmacology, and education, as well as effective collaboration with clinical teams and a commitment to quality standards and improved patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Progressive clinical experience.
- Master’s degree in advanced practice nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a master’s or doctoral degree in advanced practice, or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with a master’s or doctoral degree.
- Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license from the Minnesota Board of Nursing, or Physician Assistant studies certification.
Nice To Haves
- Clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a Primary Care, Emergency, or Urgent Care setting.
- Doctorate degree in advanced practice nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
Responsibilities
