About The Position
Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on someone’s life by opening your home to an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities. We are seeking someone in the Chattanooga, TN area, who is available to provide a safe and comfortable home, while ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs required for our individuals to live a high-quality life. You must have the ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support. This independently contracted position will provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required
- Must be open to supervisory visits in your home

Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and comfortable home for an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities.
- Ensure the basic physical and emotional needs of the individual.
- Establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual.
- Provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual.
