About The Position

Seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Arcata, CA. This is an outpatient clinical role covering a mix of pediatric and adult patients. The physician will manage acute and chronic medical conditions, perform routine exams, screenings, and immunizations, and collaborate with a support staff of RNs and MAs. The average daily patient volume is 18, and chart documentation must be completed within 72 hours.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (If BE, 5 years or less since residency)
• Licensed in CA
• Active DEA required
• BLS certification

• Document patient encounters and ensure chart closure within 72 hours.
• Collaborate with support staff (RNs, MAs) for efficient patient flow.
