Family Medicine Physician - San Angelo, TX
About The Position
The National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a role in San Angelo, TX. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekends required. Physicians become experts in wound management, utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. The group provides physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship. Physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid training is provided during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship. Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings, such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals, conducting weekly wound rounds. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily, within a 40-60 mile radius. Clinical documentation is done in real-time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. W2 employment contracts are offered, and work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Become an expert in wound management.
- Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
- Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
- Perform clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
