About The Position

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC is recruiting a BC/BE Family Medicine physician for a faculty role with their community-based FM residency program or Transitional Year program. This is an employed position with Aiken Physicians Alliance, offering an outpatient-only practice at one of four Aiken-area primary care clinics. The physician will join a collegial team and utilize Cerner EMR, seeing approximately 18-20 patients per day.

Requirements

• BC/BE Family Medicine
• Active, clear SC license and DEA or ability to obtain
• Clean professional background
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate bedside manner

Responsibilities

• Support ARMC's mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to the community of Aiken and surrounding area
• Practice comprehensive family medical care in a community setting
• Provide preventative care including well visits, screenings, and health education
• Diagnose, treat and manage conditions ranging from common illnesses to chronic disease
• Serve as core or teaching faculty educating and precepting FM residents or Transitional Year
