About The Position

At Alabama Regional Medical Services (ARMS), we believe that healthcare should be compassionate, accessible, and rooted in the community we serve. We’re seeking a Family Medicine Physician who shares our passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families across all ages and backgrounds. About the Role As a Family Medicine Physician with ARMS, you’ll provide comprehensive medical care to adult, adolescent, and/or pediatric patients in an integrated, team-based environment. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a network of skilled healthcare professionals while maintaining the autonomy to practice within your full scope and expertise.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD or DO).
  • Active license to practice medicine in the State of Alabama.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
  • Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools used in family medicine.
  • Ability to guide and support staff in the delivery of medical care.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of three (3) years in a clinical, hospital, or private practice setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive medical care to adult, adolescent, and/or pediatric patients in accordance with ARMS’ Primary Health Care Plan, policies, and protocols.
  • Ensuring compliance with all HIPAA, Joint Commission, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintaining an active Alabama medical license and DEA certification.
  • Participating in quality improvement and performance initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Keeping accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records.
  • Collaborating closely with the care team to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Staying current with medical advancements and attending professional development opportunities
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer or Chief Executive Officer.
