About The Position
Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC is recruiting a BC/BE Family Medicine physician. The position includes a faculty role with our community-based FM residency program or Transitional Year program. This is an employed position with Aiken Physicians Alliance, offering an outpatient-only practice with no inpatient or hospital call responsibilities. You will practice at one of four Aiken-area primary care clinics, working with a collegial team of physicians, APPs, and MAs, seeing approximately 18-20 patients per day using Cerner EMR.
Requirements
- BC/BE Family Medicine
- Active, clear SC license and DEA or ability to obtain
- Clean professional background
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate bedside manner
Responsibilities
- Support ARMC's mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to the community of Aiken and surrounding area
- Practice comprehensive family medical care in a community setting
- Provide preventative care including well visits, screenings, and health education
- Diagnose, treat and manage conditions ranging from common illnesses to chronic disease
- Serve as core or teaching faculty educating and precepting FM residents or Transitional Year
