About The Position
Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician for its Delhi Health Center in Delhi, New York. The practice is part of a progressive academic health system and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. The Delhi Health Center is recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance, with standards emphasizing systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care, access, communication, and patient involvement. The physician will join a collaborative, established family medicine practice within an integrated network serving an eight-county region. The role offers a full-spectrum case mix and diverse patient population, with no obstetrics. The primary care office is adjacent to affiliate O’Connor Hospital. Visa sponsorship is available for J-1 and H-1B candidates, and loan repayment may be available through federal and state programs.
Requirements
- MD, DO, or MBBS degree.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
- Completion of an accredited U.S. Family Medicine residency.
- New York medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- DEA registration required.
Benefits
- Salary range of $320,000–$347,000.
- Sign-on bonus of up to $100,000.
- Residency stipend of up to $45,000, available up to 18 months before graduation.
- Geography stipend of $25,000 for physicians practicing primary care full time in Delaware County (Delhi).
