About The Position
Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a full-time BC/BE Family Medicine Physician for Delhi Health Center in Delhi, New York. Bassett is a progressive academic health system in Central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Delhi Health Center is recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), emphasizing systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care that supports access, communication, and patient involvement. The physician will join a collaborative network and established family medicine practice within an integrated system serving an eight-county region. The role offers a full-spectrum case mix and diverse patient population, with no obstetrics. The primary care office is adjacent to affiliate hospital O’Connor Hospital. J-1 and H-1B visa candidates are welcome to apply; loan repayment may be available through federal and state programs.
Requirements
- MD, DO, or MBBS.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
- Completion of an accredited U.S. Family Medicine residency.
- New York medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- DEA registration required.

Responsibilities
- Provide family medicine care to a diverse patient population in an established practice.
- Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system serving an eight-county region.
- Deliver care in accordance with the Patient-Centered Medical Home approach, emphasizing coordinated, patient-centered care, access, communication, and patient involvement.
Benefits
- Salary range of $320,000–$347,000.
- Sign-on bonus up to $100,000.
- Residency stipend up to $45,000, available up to 18 months before graduation.
- Geography stipend of $25,000 for physicians practicing primary care full-time in Delaware County (Delhi).
