Family Medicine Physician - Flexible Schedule Options
About The Position
This community health center, established in 1999 and serving Grand Junction, Colorado, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services to an underserved patient demographic. The role focuses on general and preventive care, excluding OB services. Physicians will manage chronic health conditions, delegate patients to APP staff, perform or request screenings, interpret test results, and make referrals as needed. The practice supports physicians with dedicated clinical assistants and has on-site behavioral health, dental providers, and patient navigators. Physicians typically see an average of 17 to 19 patients per day. The practice utilizes the Epic EHR.
Requirements
- Colorado medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine
- Experience with standard outpatient primary care procedures
