About The Position

Eisner Health is seeking an experienced Family Physician to provide services to underserved communities in Downtown Los Angeles. This position offers multi-generational care within a supportive environment that includes dental care, mental health, and social work services. The physician will be responsible for comprehensive outpatient and family practice medical care, including direct patient care, collaboration with support services, and clinical/administrative duties.

Requirements

• Current license to practice medicine in the State of California.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
• Current DEA License.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families.
• Experience working with Electronic Medical Records.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in English and medical Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Primary Care Provider (PCP) assigned to the patient.
• Address the patient’s immediate medical needs.
• Perform medical evaluations, including history and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret laboratory, X-ray, referrals, and other diagnostic studies.
• Evaluate the patient and develop a problem list.
• Establish treatment objectives and plans.
• Initiate treatment orders and procedures.
• Educate and counsel patients on positive health behaviors and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate needed services for patients and families.
• Consult with the Clinical Director as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
