About The Position

The outpatient Family Medicine Physician role at an Allina Health Clinic presents an opportunity to participate in a solid team environment resulting in the ultimate patient care experience. Our Primary Care providers partner with our Mental Health service line and the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing to provide whole person care in the clinic setting. The Shoreview clinic is searching for a Family Medicine Physician to join its team. Here you will be part of a 35 member team including the service line specialties of mental health services, medical imaging, and women's health, yet able to access the full spectrum of specialty care across the Allina Health system. This role involves 36 patient contact hours per week with flexibility for lower FTE, minimal call coverage (phone only with RN triage support), and provides outpatient practice caring for all ages, including growing families. Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 7am-5pm and closed Saturday-Sunday. The EMR system used is Excellian.

Requirements

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required
• BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required
• Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable
• BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 180 Days
