About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics (FMOB) for Southern Missouri Community Health Center in West Plains, Missouri. This is a full-time, outpatient primary care position focusing on Family Medicine with Obstetrics. The role involves providing comprehensive outpatient family medicine services for patients across the lifespan, with an opportunity to perform obstetrical deliveries (participation is optional, approximately 80% Family Medicine and 20% Obstetrics). The physician will perform office procedures such as IUD placement, Nexplanon insertion, and circumcisions based on training. Collaboration with hospital partners, referral staff, and clinical leadership is essential for coordinated patient care. Accurate documentation and supporting continuity of care within a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center are key aspects of the role.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Eligible for Missouri medical licensure.
- Comfortable providing comprehensive outpatient family medicine.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
