About The Position

Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics (FMOB) West Plains offers the charm of small-town living with access to the beautiful Ozarks, outdoor recreation, low cost of living, and a tight-knit, community-focused lifestyle. Enjoy a fulfilling career in a region where your work truly matters. This is a full-time position with a 4- or 5-day workweek, primarily outpatient-based with inpatient support. The role is 80% Family Medicine / 20% Obstetrics (Optional Deliveries), with an average of 11-16 patients per day and approximately 25 deliveries annually. On-call duties are limited to one's own patients, and C-sections are not required. The physician will report to the Chief Medical Officer and be supported by LPNs and a Referral Case Manager.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine with Obstetrics
• Eligible for Missouri Medical License
• New Graduates Welcome
• No Visa Sponsorship Available

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope outpatient family medicine care
• Option to perform deliveries (OB is not required)
• Collaborate with internal hospital and clinical teams
• Perform procedures such as IUDs, Nexplanon, and circumcisions (if trained)
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Support community-based care and continuity for patients
