About The Position

Northeastern Rural Health Clinics (NRHC) is seeking a full-time or part-time Family Medicine physician with obstetric experience to join our team in Susanville, California. This position combines family medicine with obstetric care. The physician will provide primary care to patients of all ages, prenatal and postpartum care, deliveries at Banner Lassen Medical Center, and participate in a shared OB call rotation. The typical clinic volume is approximately 18 patients per full clinic day. Full-time clinic schedules may be structured as four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days. Part-time schedules may also be considered. OB call is shared separately.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
• Training and experience in obstetrics
• Current California medical license or ability to obtain one
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain one
• Ability to meet NRHC and Banner Lassen Medical Center credentialing and obstetric privileging requirements
• Commitment to providing quality care to rural and underserved patients
