About The Position

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a permanent opportunity in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. This outpatient practice serves both urban and rural patient populations and offers a collaborative, team-based environment with access to multiple onsite specialties and support services. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care services, evaluating and treating acute and chronic conditions, managing preventive care, and coordinating patient care with specialists. The practice environment is outpatient-only, primarily serving adults with limited pediatric care, and has an average patient volume of 18-22 patients per day. The team includes Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers, with onsite services such as X-Ray, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Behavioral Health.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Board Certified
• BLS Certification Required
• Active North Carolina license
• Prior Medicare and Medicaid enrollment required

Nice To Haves

• Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Manage preventive care and wellness visits
• Provide chronic disease management
• Coordinate patient care with specialists and ancillary services
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
