About The Position
Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Department of Family Medicine. St. Johnsville, NY offers the best of small-town living in the scenic Mohawk Valley, with affordable housing, a welcoming community, and convenient access to Utica, Albany, and the Adirondack region. The area is supported by a diverse economic base that includes manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, and small businesses, while residents enjoy outdoor recreation, local parks, community events, and the natural beauty of the Mohawk River corridor. Join an established group of Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians in a traditional outpatient practice with no OB, a full spectrum case mix, and a diverse patient population. This role offers a collaborative working environment, and loan repayment may be available through Federal and State programs.
Requirements
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS certification
- DEA Required

Benefits
- Salary Range: $117,000 - $145,000
- Sign-on Bonus: up to $50,000
- An additional geography stipend of $15,000 annually for full-time provider practicing primary care in St. Johnsville, NY location
