About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our staff. The Oneonta Clinic is a (NYS) Patient-Centered Medical Home recognized through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home standards emphasize the use of systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care that supports access, communication and patient involvement. Join an established group of Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians. Opportunity for 4/10-hour shifts, 7 AM – 5 PM. No OB. Full spectrum case mix and diverse patient population. Collaborative Working Environment. Loan Repayment may be available through Federal and State programs. Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region.

Requirements

• National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA Required
