About The Position

The Law Office of Bryan Fagan is hiring a courtroom-ready Family Law Attorney to lead adoption and other family law cases from initial intake through finalization. The role includes representing clients in Harris County and surrounding courts, conducting hearings, mediations, and consultations, and providing empathetic, results-driven counsel. The attorney receives marketing and administrative support, including a dedicated paralegal and support staff, to focus on managing clients’ cases. The position offers a hybrid option that can be earned.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Texas bar license for at least 2 years.
• Have at least 2 years of dedicated Texas Family Law litigation experience, with a strong focus on adoption procedures.
• Demonstrate courtroom presence and the ability to manage a busy docket with care and composure.
• Be highly organized and attentive to detail.
• Be proficient in Clio, TxDoc, Google Suite, or similar drafting and client management software.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of family law, including adoptions under the Texas Family Code.
• Represent clients in Harris County and surrounding courts.
• Conduct hearings, mediations, and consultations, applying knowledge of Texas family laws, regulations, and state agency compliance.
• Provide empathetic, results-driven representation as families navigate significant personal matters.
• Draft adoption petitions, agreements, pleadings, and discovery.
• Manage clients’ cases from initial intake through finalization.
