About The Position

They are seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Attorney to join their team in Northern Virginia. This role involves independently managing complex family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, equitable distribution, and protective order cases. It is a full-time, hybrid position serving clients in Prince William County, Loudoun County, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is a seasoned litigator passionate about family law and seeking a leadership role in a growing practice.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Virginia (required).
Minimum of 5–8 years of family law experience, including significant courtroom and trial experience.
Strong legal writing, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to develop case strategies and deliver effective client advocacy.
Leadership ability and interest in mentoring junior attorneys.

Responsibilities

Manage a substantial caseload of family law matters from intake through final resolution.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and settlement agreements.
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials before Circuit and Juvenile & Domestic Relations Courts.
Provide strategic and compassionate counsel to clients throughout the litigation process.
Collaborate with colleagues and mentor junior attorneys to ensure consistent, high-quality advocacy.
