About The Position

Coker, Robb & Cannon, Family Lawyers, is seeking a passionate Family Law Attorney to join their dynamic and supportive team in Collin County. This role offers the opportunity to guide clients through challenging times with empathy and expertise, working with one of the most trusted family law firms in North Texas. The position provides hands-on experience with meaningful cases, mentorship directly under a board-certified family law attorney, and training on trial strategy, client management, and practice development within a supportive, team-oriented culture where associates receive meaningful responsibility early.

Requirements

2-5 years of family law or similar litigation experience.
Confidence in the courtroom with willingness to develop additional skills.
Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal.
A talent for multitasking and managing cases efficiently.
Empathy and interpersonal skills to support clients during sensitive times.
Proficiency with legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
Interest in or experience in family law and courtroom litigation.

Responsibilities

Advocate for clients in divorces, child custody cases, modifications, enforcements, and more.
Handle contested hearings, mediations, and negotiations with experience-appropriate mentorship and support.
Prepare persuasive legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and orders.
Build strong relationships with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
Develop case strategies alongside a talented legal team.
