About The Position

The program is intended to provide meaningful internship opportunities for Savage Family Members who can help accomplish key objectives for the Company and the Family. This first opportunity is for Family members attending college/university. Undergraduate Internship: This opportunity is for a student who has completed at least two or three years of undergraduate studies. The paid internship lasts about 12 weeks during the summer and includes a rotation between departments to give the student broad exposure to Savage. High School Internship: This opportunity is for juniors or seniors in high school. The Savage Family Council can recommend one to two high school students as summer interns for a four-week, part-time program. This private job posting is for members of the Savage Family.

Requirements

• Completed at least two or three years of undergraduate studies (for Undergraduate Internship).
• Be a junior or senior in high school (for High School Internship).
• Be a member of the Savage Family.
• Include in cover letter: the opportunity or opportunities interested in, relationship to the Savage family, and any travel plans that would prevent availability for interviews or participation.
• Be available for interviews in October.
• Be available for the summer program.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a rotation between departments to gain broad exposure to Savage.
