Under the general supervision of the Deputy Director, this position has primary responsibility for planning, organizing, and implementing the Family and Community Partnership service area for both Head Start and the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) programs. Responsible for all federal requirements in the area of Family, Parent and Community Engagement work plan and the coordination of family partnership process and parent involvement for families. Family and Community Engagement focuses on parent involvement, including family support services, case management, transition services and partnerships with community agencies. This position will take the lead in outcomes and accountability for grant deliverables. As part of support services, the Family Engagement and Partnerships Coordinator participates in developing agency plans, monitoring and assessing program performance, and planning and carrying out Family Services Worker (FSW) staff training, and mentoring. This position is also responsible for actively recruiting families into the programs and helps to review enrollment applications.
