About The Position

CGRC's Family Based Supervisor provides administrative and clinical leadership of the program and is responsible for supervision and instruction relative to the treatment services delivered by the program team. The Clinical Supervisor ensures administrative and clinical integration, coordination, and collaboration of the program services into the overall functioning of the organization.

Requirements

  • A master degree in a mental health field, which includes a clinical training and clinical practicum;
  • Minimum three (3) years experience working in a child and family mental health, education, child welfare, or juvenile justice system with at least two of these being in a supervisory or managerial position.
  • Broad clinical practice experience in family, child, behavior, individual, or couple therapy, or crisis intervention / stabilization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, direct, coordinate, and supervise the delivery of program related services to children, adolescents, and their families.
  • Provide expertise and leadership in developing and maintaining innovative and effective delivery of program services.
  • Verify current and ongoing clinical competence of all program team members by ensuring the implementation of employee program orientation, training, and effective performance management.
  • Intervene to provide immediate assistance in crisis situations.
  • Oversee productivity requirements of the department and market to ensure consistent referrals to the Department.
  • Collaborate with supervisor to develop cost effective and accurate program budgets for all assigned services.
  • Support recruitment and retention strategies within the department and ensure appropriate staffing for assigned services consistent with client needs.
