Family Based Mental Health Therapist - Bachelor's Level
About The Position
Momentum Services, LLC is seeking a motivated Family Based Therapist who's looking for flexibility in their schedule and is passionate about helping others in a supportive, relaxed work environment. This position provides individual, parenting, family, and other as needed therapy sessions. Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a human service field.
- One year of work experience with children and/or families.
- FBI, PA Child Abuse, and Criminal background checks are required.
- Demonstrated clinical, therapeutic, and crisis intervention skills.
- Ability to provide excellent and compassionate service to families.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team structure.
- Ability to exercise a high level of confidentiality and flexibility.
- Excellent communication skills with clientele and staff.
- Independently motivated and able to work within a partnership.
- Computer and typing skills sufficient to perform essential job functions.
- Passionate about serving the members of our community.

- Family Based Therapists must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Therapists work with the family to stabilize the child(ren) by increasing the quality of relationships and functioning within the family system and community.
- Provide therapy to children/youth and their families.
- Provide a comprehensive 30-day initial assessment.
- Provide family therapy, child individual therapy, sibling therapy, parenting sessions/support.
- Provide case management & assistance/advocacy within the community.
- Services are provided in the home, school, and community.
- Take part in an on-call rotation to provide crisis support for all the families in our Family Based program as needed.
- Attend regular trainings as assigned.
- Local travel is required for sessions.
- Other duties as assigned.
