Part-Time Family Assistant

Sage HausSt. Louis, MO
$30 - $35Onsite

About The Position

We're a busy, active family with two wonderful kids (under age 10), a lovable yellow Lab who keeps us on our toes (and leaves plenty of fur behind!), and two parents balancing demanding careers. Between school, after-school activities, work commitments, and everyday life, our weeks move quickly. We genuinely love spending time together and have worked hard to build a home that feels welcoming, organized, and peaceful. For us, a clean, well-functioning household isn't just a preference — it's what allows our family to feel less stressed and more connected. Over the years, we've tried just about every solution to stay ahead of household responsibilities, from meal delivery services to in-home cooking. What we've realized is that what we truly need is a proactive, dependable professional who can become a trusted extension of our family. Someone who notices when pantry staples are running low, keeps fresh food ready for the week, manages laundry from start to finish, resets the home each day, and tackles the organizational projects that often get pushed aside. We'd love for our weekends to be spent making memories with our kids—not catching up on chores. If you take genuine pride in creating order, love anticipating needs before anyone has to ask, and find satisfaction in a beautifully maintained home, you'll fit right in. We're looking for someone who is organized, self-directed, and professional—someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to help a busy family thrive. While occasional help with the kids or our dog may come up as trust is built, your greatest impact will be giving our family the gift of a home that feels calm, prepared, and ready for whatever the week brings.

  • Weekly rotation of sheets and towels
  • Steam garments as needed
  • Maintain a well-stocked and tidy laundry area
  • Meal prep 2–3 nights per week: chopping, marinating, steaming, washing produce, and prepping ingredients so the family can finish and serve (not full cooking)
  • Wash and store berries and produce to extend freshness

  • Weekly fridge clean-out and food rotation
  • Clean humidifiers as needed
  • One-time basement reorganization: sorting and organizing storage bins
  • Ongoing organizational projects as priorities develop (kids’ toy bins to remove broken toys or reduce quantity)
