About The Position
New parents in Valley Village, LA, are seeking a warm, proactive, and intuitive family assistant/nanny to support them with their 12-week-old identical twins. This role is ideal for someone who excels as a "right-hand person." The mother is full-time at home and leads all baby care, and the family needs a teammate who can take direction from her on the twins while proactively managing household tasks to ensure the home runs smoothly. The position is Monday through Friday, from 11 am to 7 pm.
Requirements
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Intuitive and proactive mindset, respectful of Mom's lead with babies and dog.
- Loves to cook and is proficient at it.
- Experience with infants, with multiples experience being a major plus.
- Genuine love for dogs and willingness to follow the family's lead on dog care.
- Valid driver's license and car for errands and grocery runs.

Responsibilities
- Assist the "Lead" (Mom & Twins) by preparing the tandem nursing station, assisting with positioning the babies, and helping with diapering, soothing, and burping as directed by Mom.
- Manage household logistics including laundry, dishes, and cooking to support the father who works from home.
- Prepare simple, nutrient-dense, healthy/organic lunches and dinners for the parents.
- Handle baby laundry, sterilize bottles and pump parts for the evening, and restock diaper stations.
- Manage dishes, kitchen tidying, and general organization of common areas.
- Provide the family dog with extra affection and attention.
- Coordinate dog feeding and walks with Mom, and join the afternoon walk with the dog and twins.
- Manage the "Witching Hour" by dimming lights and starting white noise in the late afternoon.
- Prepare bottles for the evening, plate parents' dinner, and ensure the nursery is ready for the night nanny.
- Potentially provide childcare for short periods to allow parents a date night.
Benefits
- Hourly rate of $45-$52 per hour.
