We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Failure Analysis Technician.

Requirements

2 years or more experience in failure analysis, electronics quality inspection, or computer repair
Ability to read and interpret schematics/block diagrams
Email and written messaging with basic Excel knowledge
Knowledge of advanced computer hardware/components and basic computer software
Proficient English abilities required
Excellent time-management skills
Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision

Nice To Haves

Associates degree in electronics, computer repair or other related field, preferred
Experience using hand power tools preferred
Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred

Responsibilities

Tests, troubleshoots and repairs complex system failures
Conducts visual mechanical inspection of units, components, subcomponents and/or computer systems
Assembles and disassembles units, computer components and/or subcomponents
Performs computer data entry using shop floor systems
Follows procedures and diagrams in engineering change orders
Interacts daily with operations and materials groups
Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
May complete component level trouble shooting (capacitor, resistors, etc. )
May perform other duties as assigned
