OPAL-RT Technologies is looking for a Specialist in Premium Technical Support – Aerospace ! Your external clients will mainly be companies in the aerospace industry. As a FAE in the Premium group, you will do commissioning, integration, customer support and customer training. Our team of application engineers have excellent technical knowledge as well as very good communication and problem-solving skills. These are the skills they look for in their future colleague. Under normal conditions, you will be required to travel between 5 to 25% to our customers, including in the United States.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (preferably), software engineering, or mechanical engineering
Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience (we consider your internships experiences relevant)
Required knowledge: MATLAB / Simulink
Language abilities: good proficiency English and French
Required skills: passion for problem solving; love challenges and good ability to work under pressure; excel in interpersonal relations and / or customer service

Nice To Haves

Experience and / or interest in the aerospace industry
Experience in programming (Python, C++)
Experience in FPGA and VHDL programming
Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, CAN-FD, ARINC-429, ADFX/ARINC 664 7 and Ethernet Based Protocols
Experience with Simulation & Testing tools and Fault injection.
Familiarity with common types of power electronics circuitry used for AC-DC and DC-DC conversion, working knowledge of Resolver / Synchro interfaces, LVDT / RVDT and PWM, frequency‑based signals.
Generate good « memes » under 10 seconds
