About The Position
The Faculty member provides quality education in the School of Nursing by implementing the objectives of the nursing program. The role also participates in the school’s operational activities through committee work. Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a 131-bed community hospital serving Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls, and northwest Philadelphia. Its School of Nursing has educated nurses since 1898. The hospital is part of Prime Healthcare and is accredited by The Joint Commission.
Requirements
- Hold a current, valid Registered Nurse license issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Maintain a current BLS certificate from ARC or AHA upon hire.
- Be proficient in basic computer applications, student information systems, and learning management systems.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in nursing education or administration.
- One year of experience in academia or formalized education.
Responsibilities
