Faculty Physician - Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS)
About The Position
The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Urology are seeking a Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) Specialist. This position offers ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, West Virginia, focusing on URPS patient care. In addition to clinical duties, the role involves actively teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. WVU Medicine is the state's largest health system and private employer, dedicated to advancing healthcare through research and providing high-level medical care across the state and surrounding regions.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
- Eligible for state medical license.
- Completion of a Urology residency program.
- Completion of a URPS fellowship program.
- Board certified / eligible in URPS.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Responsibilities
- Practice in the areas of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS).
- Provide excellent patient care.
- Actively participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
