About The Position
BayCare Medical Group is seeking a board-certified/eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join the Faculty team at the St. Joseph's Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program. This community-care focused training program, which welcomed its first class in 2024, provides essential services to families in West Central Florida. The role is 100% ambulatory, with 90% of the time dedicated to clinical duties (precepting residents) and 10% protected time for academic activities. This position will support outpatient clinic rotations at the new site.
Requirements
- Board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine (preferred) or Family Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Precepting residents in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Providing clinical support for outpatient clinic rotations.
- Engaging in academic activities.
