About The Position
BayCare Medical Group is seeking a board-certified/eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join the Faculty team at the St. Joseph's Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program. This program is community-care focused and provides services to families in West Central Florida. The program welcomed its first class in 2024 and is experiencing continued growth. This position is 100% ambulatory, with 90% clinical duties (precepting residents) and 10% protected academic time. The role will support outpatient clinic rotations at the new site.
Requirements
- Board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine (preferred) or Family Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Precepting residents in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Providing clinical support for outpatient clinic rotations.
- Engaging in academic activities during protected time.
