About The Position

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of ENT seek a Faculty Physician - Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, West Virginia. The Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at WVU Medicine is a comprehensive ENT program with fellowship-trained faculty, advanced practice providers, and audiologists delivering care across 12 subspecialty areas. It is anchored by J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown and supported by a network of more than 25 hospitals and ambulatory clinics across five states. WVU Medicine is West Virginia’s largest health system and the state’s largest employer, with significant expansion in specialty and sub-specialty care. The Health System operates West Virginia’s first and only multi-organ transplant center and opened a new, 150-bed Children’s Hospital in September 2022. The WVU Health System has more than 3,000 licensed beds, more than 4,000 providers, and more than 35,000 employees, serving a multi-state region including West Virginia, Western Maryland, Eastern Ohio, and Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
  • Eligible for state medical license.
  • Completed an ENT residency program.
  • Completed Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship training.
  • Board certified / eligible in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Practice in the areas of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
  • Provide excellent patient care.
  • Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
