About The Position

The Department of World Languages and Cultures at the University of Massachusetts Lowell seeks a part-time Adjunct Instructor to teach one course on Chinese language level 1. The successful candidate will be expected to start classes on September 1st, 2026. Under the guidance of the Chair of the department, the ideal candidate will enhance the student's learning experience by integrating a variety of methods and strategies into the teaching process and maintaining a student learning-centered environment. Requirements

  • Ph.D degree in a related field in hand
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Chinese and English required.
  • Teaching experience at the college level in lower-division courses for more than 10 years.
