About The Position
Full-time faculty members are professional educators whose primary responsibility is to fulfill the institution’s mission, vision, values, strategic plan, Board of Trustees’ charges, and educational philosophy, with the goal of providing quality education to students. Faculty are classified as Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor and are subject to Board policies, including academic freedom and its accompanying responsibilities. The faculty member is directly responsible to a discipline coordinator and/or department chair and works through the college’s administrative structure and the district. The relationship with students includes serving as a leader, teacher, adviser, mentor, and facilitator of learning. This position is based in Plumbing at 800 Quintana Road, San Antonio, Texas. Hours vary, and the instructor may teach evening and/or weekend classes. Pay depends on education level. The position is benefits eligible. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of experience in the plumbing trades with a Journeyman license.
- If hired with a high school diploma or equivalent, complete an associate’s degree within three years of employment.

Nice To Haves
- Five years of experience as a plumber or manager.
- Associate degree.
- Master Plumber license.
