About The Position

Adjunct Faculty in Home Building teach and support the District’s mission of providing a quality education to students attending its colleges. Faculty members serve as leaders, teachers, advisors, and facilitators of learning, and are expected to uphold the colleges’ mission and values while fostering effective working relationships with students and colleagues. Faculty members are responsible to a department or program chairperson.

This is a part-time, temporary position without benefits. Weekly hours vary. Classes may be held during evenings and weekends, and the schedule may vary. Pay depends on education level. Applicants must upload transcripts under “Other Documents” in their applicant profile and submit a resume or CV.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of documented experience in the field to be taught or related fields.
• If hired with a high school diploma or equivalent, complete an associate degree within three years of employment.
• Submit transcript(s) and a resume or CV as part of the application.
• Hold certification in the field to be taught or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• At least an associate’s degree and five years of documented work experience in the field to be taught.
• Documented military training or experience in the field to be taught or related fields.
