About The Position

Full-time faculty members are professional educators whose primary responsibility is to fulfill the institution’s mission, vision, values, strategic plan, Board of Trustees’ charges, and educational philosophy, with the goal of providing quality education to students. Faculty are classified as Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor and are subject to Board policies, including academic freedom and its accompanying responsibilities. They are directly responsible to a discipline coordinator and/or department chair and have responsibilities through their college’s administrative structure and to the district. Faculty serve students as leaders, teachers, advisers, mentors, and facilitators of learning. This position is based at HVAC, 800 Quintana Road, San Antonio, Texas. The schedule may vary and may include evening and weekend classes. Entry pay depends on education level.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. If hired with a high school diploma or equivalency, must complete an associate degree within three years of employment.
Three years of experience in the HVAC field.
State Contractors license.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree.
Five years of experience as an HVAC technician or manager.
HVAC State Contractors license or city Master license.
