About The Position
The La Crosse- Mayo Family Medicine Residency is seeking to add a new faculty member to our well-established and respected program. The ideal candidate will join 7 other experienced faculty members in training 18 Family Medicine residents (six per year). This role offers the opportunity to engage in full-scope outpatient family medicine, with a preference for inpatient care. There is also an interest in prenatal care and labor/delivery care. The position provides opportunities for faculty and professional development within an integrated healthcare system that emphasizes team-based care. Inpatient coverage is limited to the Family Medicine Teaching Service patients, as all other inpatients are managed by an established Hospitalist program. H1B Visa candidates are accepted.
Requirements
- Board certified in Family Medicine
- Able to obtain a Wisconsin Medical License
Nice To Haves
- Three or more years of experience
- Experience as a faculty member
- Interest in doing outpatient Inpatient care
- Interest in prenatal care and labor/delivery care
- OB including deliveries (nonsurgical)
