The Emergency Medical Services Professions (EMSP) Faculty supports learning on campus, all distance learning modalities, in simulation, and through clinical experiences in both traditional and dual credit (high school) settings. Responsible to prepare and deliver coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to student success and creating an environment that promotes belonging for all. This position starts in January 2027. The Emergency Medical Service Professions (EMSP) department is accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP) and offers primarily on campus learning with some online sections. The program prepares students to work in a variety of settings including EMS systems, emergency communications, the hospital E.D., private ambulance services, and medical diagnostic clinics. Our department consists of an EMT and paramedic program. Faculty/Staff experience and clinical opportunities support instruction and service/career needs as determined by our employers and help assure our students are competitive after graduation.
