About The Position

The faculty will be responsible for educational leadership and student instruction on a part-time basis in biology courses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Anatomy & Physiology or closely related discipline.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with students, staff, and the public.
  • Sensitivity to the expectations of students, faculty, and staff.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form.
  • Developed organizational skills.
  • Interdisciplinary approach to education.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to diversity and multicultural issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Anatomy & Physiology or closely related discipline.
  • Coursework in or experience using computers in instruction.
  • Teaching Anatomy & Physiology at the secondary or college level for at least two semesters, both lecture and laboratory.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct and evaluate students in biology courses which may include; Anatomy and Physiology (lecture or laboratory or both).
  • Maintain accurate written records of student performance.
  • Take attendance and maintain records of student attendance.
  • Participate in School assessment process.
  • Maintain office hours according to the standardized part-time teaching agreement.
