About The Position

The faculty will be responsible for educational leadership and student instruction on a part-time basis in accounting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a discipline directly related to the identified instructional area.
• Expertise with the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and other data analysis and accounting software.
• Ability to teach one or more courses in business administration/accounting.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with students, staff, faculty, and the public.
• Sensitivity to the expectations of students, faculty, and staff.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form.
• Developed organizational skills.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to diversity and multicultural issues.
• Ability and willingness to teach online if necessary.

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in related discipline.
• CPA and/or Professional Accounting Credential.
• Three (3) years teaching and/or practical work experience in the area of instruction.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and evaluate students in Accounting and/or other related areas.
• Maintain accurate written records of Student performance.
• Complete official Student rosters and return to School office as required.
• Participate in School assessment process.
• Assist with curriculum review, revision, and development.
• Maintain office hours according to contractual agreement.
