About The Position
The Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance at Framingham State University invites applications for a full-time temporary faculty position in Accounting. This role begins in Fall 2026 and involves teaching, student advising, and a commitment to teaching excellence and continued scholarly and professional growth. The department is looking for a candidate to teach Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Taxation.
Requirements
- MBA or MS in Accounting.
- A track record of teaching excellence as evidenced by student evaluations.
- Interest and ability to teach Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Taxation.
- Experience with or a demonstrated willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, research, or service activities that promote the growth of an equitable, diverse, and inclusive academic environment.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Portuguese.
Responsibilities
- Teach a load of three four-credit courses per semester.
