The available positions are Cookie Dipper, Baker Helper, and Cookie Wrapping Specialist. Requirements

• Demonstrate knowledge of Big Island Candies' Safety, Quality and Reliability procedures
• Comply with Company House Rules, policies and procedures
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety guidelines
• Must have good personal hygiene habits at all times
• Work safely to prevent injury to self and others, prevent damages to products, equipment and property
• Maintain cleanliness within the work area
• Able to work independently
• Ability to communicate and share information with peers
• Honest, hardworking and caring
• Responsible, energetic and detail-oriented
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Possess basic math skills
• Must be able to follow instructions
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to stand for the duration of the shift
• Proof of TB clearance required

Responsibilities

• Dipping cookies and various products in chocolates, caramels, etc. (Cookie Dipper)
• Assisting with baking cookies, pies, brownies, breads, etc. (Baker Helper)
• Operating packaging equipment (Cookie Wrapping Specialist)
• Ensuring all products are packaged with care to meet quality standards (Cookie Wrapping Specialist)
• Working with fellow team members in a positive and professional manner to achieve daily production goals
• Adapting to quickly changing priorities
• Performing other duties as assigned
