About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting with keeping score, statistical reporting, and setting up for and breaking down of athletic programs. The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends. The Scorekeeper performs duties related to assisting the Recreation Coordinator and Assistant Recreation Coordinator, serves as their representative in their absence, and delivers timely reports on scores, game information, incidents, injuries, safety issues, property damage, needed repairs, and low supply inventories. The Scorekeeper must follow and enforce all program rules and safety standards, as well as follow instructions from superiors and complete assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Must be sixteen (16) years of age or older
• Must successfully pass criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Assisting with keeping score
• Statistical reporting

• Delivering accurate and timely reports of scores, pertinent game information, incidents, injuries, safety issues, damage to property, needed repairs, and low inventories of supplies
• Following, practicing, and helping enforce all rules and safety standards for the program
• Following verbal and written instructions from superiors and ensuring the timely and quality completion of assigned tasks
• Performing other duties as assigned
